The Centre for Learning Resources (CLR) is the primary information source for both faculty and students. It provides a wide range of information, which is made available through printed books, e-journals, e-resources, and e-library. Centre for Learning Resources strives in improving its collection and services to achieve excellence. CLR provides the following services:
Automated Circulation System
The Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) provides automated records of all learning resources. The CLR users can search by title, author, subject, call number, keyword, etc. and, it allows easy and fast borrowing and returning of CLR materials. The CLR adopts the open shelf system.
The E-Library is connected with wide range of international databases through UK universities which are affiliated with Gulf College. Students will be given an individual username and password to gain access to the online library.
The CLR is equipped with computers for internet workstations to gain access to information on the World Wide Web. Wireless internet connection is also provided for laptop and mobile users.
Discussion and Quiet Study Rooms
Located on the first and second level of the learning resource centre are 11 rooms that can be used by faculty and students for group discussions or for quiet study.
The CLR provides orientation to all students at the start of each semester to acquaint CLR users to locate, retrieve, select, and evaluate information.
A registered student of the College is allowed to print 600 Pages/semester, free of cost.
The students and staff of the College are allowed to photocopy CLR books free of charge, this is subject to the terms and condition of CLR

During the semester, the CLR timing will be
- Sundays-Wednesdays, 8:30am-7:30pm
- Thursdays, 8:30am-5:30pm
During semester breaks, the CLR timing will be
- Sundays-Wednesdays, 8:30am - 5:30 pm
- Thursdays, 9:00am-4:00 pm
